Charlotte Pritt, a coal miner's daughter, was an educator, writer, poet, House of Delegates Member, a
Senator, and the 1996 Democratic nominee for Governor in the state of West Virginia before becoming
the Owner/President of Better Balance LLC, an educational and wellness consulting firm.  As Vice-Chair
of Health and Human Resources Committee in the West Virginia Senate, Charlotte saw and responded to
the many health care needs of those in her state.  Receiving numerous awards for her work especially with
children and the elderly while in the West Virginia Legislature, Charlotte continues her passion for
empowerment of people through sponsoring and leading workshops to help clients achieve better balance
in their physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual lives.

Since leaving elected politics, Charlotte has vigorously pursued classes in brain enhancement and stress
management.  Extensive course work in brain development and stress management allowed her to connect
the dots and have cutting edge information concerning fields as diverse as ADD/ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia,
Early postural and primitive reflexes, Gifted and/or Special needs children and adults.  Working with
school systems and individual schools to help them raise test scores and reduce behavioral problems has
been especially rewarding for Charlotte.

The
Touch for Health (www.tfhka.org) classes Charlotte teaches address how stress affects the
emotional and physical body.  Some of the programs deal directly with diffusing stress which short circuits
the body creating mental or physical illness.  She teaches techniques to address panic attacks, phobias,
addictions and other debilitating symptoms of stress run amok.  The Touch for Health classes are accepted
for CEU credits for massage therapists and nurses nationally.

For those who have mastered stress and are interested in perfecting their physical and artistic performance
skills, Educational Kinesiology
(www.braingym.org) and other kinesiology programs are excellent tools to
use for integration techniques to assure that postural and primitive reflexes are integrated and that the whole
brain body connection is in tact while performing.  Olympic athletes, the Canadian Symphony, golfers,
public speakers, writers, are a few example of those who "tune up" before performances by practicing
Brain Gym techniques also  taught at Better Balance LLC.
